“the interior was good but..”
loved the interior but not the food. we ordered some indonesian dishes hoping that it will have some indonesian tastes but it didnt. all the food was too salty for us. fried tempe was too soft (boiled?). didnt try dessert 'coz already disappointed. they also have thai cuisine (didnt ordered).

“Great Indonesian food in Tokyo”
I have had dinner at Bali Lax 3 times over the last 5 years. The food is always good. Traditional Indonesian / Balinese food. Try the delicious pork ribs. So good. The decor is the highlight of this restaurant. Real authentic Balinese decor. Very good

“Watch out for cover charge”
We were very happy with this restaurant until we noticed an extra Y1000 ($12 AUD) for each person on the bill. The itemization was in Japanese (of course) so I asked. It was a cover charge. I've paid a cover charge in clubs before, but NEVER in a restaurant. In fairness, it may have been advertised ...in bold capital letters in Japanese. Also in fairness, it was a very lovely (quite exceptional) ambiance. But we did ask for (and receive) the English menu, and the cover charge was not obvious (if it were mentioned at all, which I doubt). You can charge $50 cover for all I care - just make sure I know about it before I order.

“Good Food & Great Ambiance ”
The first thing that I liked about the place was the Ambiance, Glass floor and water flowing beneath. Calm and Nice music. The place has calm and relaxing aura. Good Indonesian food, I order Cashew Curry Chicken (don't remember the name exactly) which was delicious. Do give a try to this dish.

“Great service but not an Indonesian restaurant”
This restaurant has a beautiful setting, really enjoyable and relaxing. The staff are very attentive and you couldn't ask for more from them, howe re the food really was disappointing. We ordered nasi goreng which was the opposite end of the scale for what nasi goreng should be, also ordered chicke...n satay, which was supposed to take 30 mins to prepare, it didn't and wasn't charcoal cooked. I did think with the name thus restaurant was going to be Indonesian but as I have been to Bali six times, clearly it wasnt. I think the chef might want to visit Bali to truly understand Indonesian food!
