Enjoyable Italian experience in Tokyo at Porto Faro. We were looking for a great dinner in Tokyo on our last day of our vacation and found this lovely place well located at Nissan Crossing in Ginza area. The restaurant is located on the 9th floor with view on Nissan Crossing which contributes to y...our amazing dinner. The restaurant has nice decoration with a split floor. The service was excellent, thank you to Katsumasa Nukui, who not only was an excellent friendly host but we were also impressed with his level of English and Spanish. The food was delicious (US beef steaks and vegies). My wife asked to have her meat cooked more and it came back in 5 min just the way she wanted it. We also enjoyed the beet and Sake. A memorable dinner, we strongly recommend. Very tasty menu and very interesting and kind staff. Thank you for the wonderfull evening we could spend with you and your food. Excellent japanese wine was served. A location with big heart!

We wandered in here for lunch after seeing the restaurant’s sign at ground level. You have to take the elevator to the 9th floor and then walk down a spiral staircase which makes for an impressive first impression. Lunch specials are a very good deal based on the quality of the food and what you... get - essentially a 3 course prix fixe lunch. Pasta main is ¥1500, meat main is ¥2000 and there are a couple of pricier options with more food. Service was good. Food was good. Bread was good. We felt like they probably weren’t making any money on us based on what we spent vs what we got. Enjoyable lunch experience overall.

I have been taken to this restaurant by a friend of mine, who is very picky about what to eat and where to eat, and now this is my favorite place to eat in Ginza. It doesn't face the main street, but you can enjoy the view of a postcard while eating good Italian on the 8th floor (Be careful that th...e entance is on the 9th floor). I have been to this place only during the lunch time, but I can imagine how beautiful the view from the window will be at dinner time. Their service is great, too. The staff are experienced and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and sophisticated. I am looking forward to visit this restaurant again with my family or with my friends.
