“Sal shek”
Very disappointed with this resto. Hotel suggested others which we have tried except this one. Chose this cos it claims it’s one of the oldest. Decor obviously suggests that but it’s ok if it got tradition etc. what’s unacceptable is that the pot wasn’t hot enough yet they cooked the beef for a min ...yet still served it to us so it tasted not even warm and I had to tell them to pls change the coal. I felt they’re rushing to get off work. The beef quality is nothing like we expected. Small and mostly fat - it’s not marbled beef

“Superb sukiyaki dinner experience ”
This was an absolutely wonderful dining experience. We were treated like royalty, with our own private room and multiple attentive servers, yet we didn’t pay a high price for it. They have servers who can speak some English so don’t fret if you can’t speak Japanese. They also have an English menu. I... will definitely dine here again!

“Very unique local experience ”
We stopped by this very unique place by chance. We were amazed with the quality of service. From entrance it looks like a butcher, but you go down to the basement for the restaurant. They have private rooms with very authentic decorations. Ordering food is unique experience as they speak little engl...ish bit have some english menues. The food come with a ceremony and cooked on the table of coal grills. Amazing taste amazing experience a bit pricey though. It is a great memory for the family.

“Traditional Japanese Sukiyaki”
Opened in 1869, this one of the oldest sukiyaki restaurants in Tokyo is still considered as one of the best restaurants today serving sukiyaki of using special Japanese beefs. They have very nice private rooms for business meetings and special occasions. Highly recommended.

“Amazing traditional Sukiyaki!!”
Amazing traditional Sukiyaki!! My friend took me to eat traditional Sukiyaki at Iseju in Nihonbashi. The restaurant is in the basement of a building, and each area is divided into Tatami style private rooms. Service was very Japanese style, with waitresses in Kimonos, soft spoken and very polite. ... We started dinner with some beautiful and delicious appetizers before they brought in the sukiyaki pot complete with coals and a water basin for safety. It was really wonderful to try this popular dish in Japan, and in such a traditional restaurant. Iseju has been in business since 1869. We ordered the Wagyu beef set and the meat was really soft and tender. The vegetables, tofu and clear noodles were also very tasty and for me, even better than the beef! The meal ended with some fresh udon noodles which were divine. Very very good...definitely recommend if you're in Tokyo. But be prepared to spend some dough as it's quite expensive.
