Absolutely terrible service. Female hostess hostile to english questions. Went 2x, walked out the 3rd time. Unfortunate since food is still good.

We stumbled across this gem by chance as we were looking quickly for somewhere to eat on a Friday night before flying out at about 5am the next morning. We were lucky to get a couple of seats in the corner at the bar, with plenty of space for all the tasty dishes and sake that we ordered! There wa...s a great, local Friday night vibe and we were able to sit at close quarters and watch the chef in action. The waiters were really helpful and looked after us well. I really enjoyed the skewers and the fact that vegetable skewers were also on offer (a nice selection of choices). I tried something new and it was amazing - the cold soba with grated radish and pickled plum. One possible downside is that I think they allow smoking but we were lucky that we weren't sitting near to anyone smoking and couldn't even smell it. Overall, a fun evening with lots of tasty food and drink and a very reasonable price.

Love the skewers. Delicious with the numbing Chili and some beer. They accommodated my family (5 yrs old and 18mo). It was comfortable and they enjoyed their meal too

English menu available. Nice and authentic looking place. That’s the end of the good points. Ordered Yakitori. No pork skewers or wavy beef served. Few patrons there when I ate. Specifically ordered rice, Edamame, bell pepper skewer, crispy chicken wings, beef skewer and chicken with wasabi skewer. ...The Edamame were small and the skin was starting to brown in many places. Somehow the crispy chicken wings were cold & crispy on the outside but warm and raw inside. Seemed like a bad microwave attempt. Had to send them back. The chicken nor beef nor pepper skewers were hot which is strange for something that is supposed to come straight off the BBQ. After the meat was served, 5 mins later the steamed rice arrived. Weird. They then forgot to give me chopsticks so I used the skewers. The orange juice was some nasty tinny juice from its taste. The free Mango juice they gave me to try to apologize was ok. ¥7,614 is expensive for the quality. Would have been. Happy to pay more for a better experience. The waitresses were friendly enough, just not very competent. More competent than the kitchen though.
