“Unagi!!”
If you’re in the area and like unagi this is the place you can not miss. This place is a legend for unagi. Three stories high always busy don’t know if they even take reservation but it’s worth a wait if you get there little late. Reasonably priced this place is a must.

“UNAGI”
Unagi (grilled eel) is my favorite.... This time as I was staying at Nihombashi area, of course, Isesada is my 'must go' place. I went there for the early lunch before departure to airport. They got different branches in Tokyo, but I specially like their main store (honten) at Nihombashi - it's just... few min. walk from Mitsukoshi-mae station. Lunch menu price is good, and when the una-ju came, you feel it's different from the one that you have in your town. The eel was grilled and not 'micro-wave', and the sauce is not that sticky as other place. The ladies there dressed in kimono, and very traditional Japanese style restaurant. If you've travelling in Tokyo, don't miss this place for UNAGI.

“Delicious”
I took my dinner at this restaurant! The eel with tamago (egg omelet) was very tasty! And the grilled eel bowl was extremely good! After the meal, you feel that you have 'charged' after a long travel day! Also, there is English menu provided.

“Unexpected Discovery”
The four of us were spending the day touring the Nihonbashi section of Tokyo, and around lunch time we walked by Isesada and decided to give it a try. We walked into the cozily appointed restaurant and were immediately greeted with attentive and elegant servers. We were asked to sit down stairs or g...o to the the upper floor which had a slightly more upscale menu, which we did. All of us ordered the basic Unagi set menu, and could not be happier with the experience. The food was very good, from the appetizer to the eel to the broth to the desserts. I would say that it is a great value, even though it comes out at $30 or so a person for lunch.

“One of very authentic Unagi (eel) restaurants in Tokyo”
Along with Sushi and Tempura, Unagi is the most favourite meal of mine, whenever I visit Japan. Simply put, it is a filleted, char-grilled eel on a bed of rice. Unfortunately this fish is becoming more and more expensive due to its scarcity, it costs you approx. £30 (a Unagi bowl+ broth set meal) wh...ich may leave your stomach a bit unsatisfactory in terms of quantity for £30. Having said that, it tastes wonderful if you could appreciate what it is, Unagi is basted, so flavourful with sweeten soy sauce and tender (melts in your mouth). Ambience is very Japanese and the restaurant is full of a clientele even before 12:00!. If you want to try Unagi in Tokyo with the traditional Unagi restaurant atmosphere, I can recommend this venue.
