A quiet little cafe cum bar located next to Ueno Terminal Hotel. The place is clean and cosy. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. The lady bartender can speak some English along with the other waitstaff. The western food is nice. The best food are their desserts and milkshakes. The prices of ...food and drinks are reasonable for Japanese standard. The menu was both in Japanese and English. You should try their delicious, moist cake called Brule in Baumkuchen (Uji matcha) and the matcha milkshake - if you don't fancy matcha tea flavour, there are original plain version of the cakes too. Overall, a cosy cafe with reasonably priced food which taste nice.

The cafe is attached to Ueno Terminal Hotel. In addition to hotel guests, It attracts a steady stream of local customers (including repeat customers) for breakfast. That is a good indication of quality & value. Charges are reasonable. Among other offeringsm Pronto serves a light breakfast-- sal...ad, Texas toast, boiled egg (or a replacement), yogurt & drink (coffee, for me). It appears to be gratis for hotel guests after securing a ticket at the hotel front desk each morning. so first night I have dinner at this place, price was ok, food was great, staff didn't speak much english, however the menu was in english and pictures, so was easy to order. size of the food was pretty small-but again I eat a lot :); overall great place. They also serve breakfast.

Just went for tea this time. Other people looked to have nice food. Typical coffee shop atmosphere and ambience. We liked it.
