Lower than average quality food, extra charge you mandatory tips, cramp space. "Food": 3.5/5 – flavors are noticeably weaker than many local, authentic Japanese restaurants in the area, yet the prices are on the high side. The skewers were unevenly grilled, with the tops hot but the bottoms only lu...kewarm, suggesting inconsistent heat control. Two chicken skewers even arrived partially raw with red, bloody meat and had to be sent back for re-cooking. "Extra charges": There is an additional 550 yen per person, or around a 10% surcharge, added on top of the food cost, which is unusual compared with most restaurants in Japan. This fee is not clearly explained upfront; it appears only on the first page of the menu after you are already seated and is only mentioned again when the bill arrives. While tipping or paying a service charge for hardworking staff is understandable, the way this fee is presented feels misleading. "Overtight space": The restaurant is not just crowded; the table layout feels extremely tight, making it uncomfortable to sit and move around. The cramped setup reduces privacy and overall dining comfort, especially during busy hours. "Smell clothes", don't bring expensive clothes, it will leave strong smell from restaurant, there is no way they can protect your clothes.

“COLD YAKITORY SKEWERS. EVERY SINGLE ONE.”
Expensive place with subpar yakitori. It is the worst food we had in Tokyo. All the skewered yakitori items must have been pre-made and sitting for awhile. Every single item, except agedashi tofu and rice balls, was cold…. Beef, squid, fried chicken, pork belly, shishito pepper, mushrooms, and 4 ch...icken skewers ALL COLD! Giving 2 stars because the ambience is ok. ASK: Judging from other review, eat here at your own risk and ask for the food to be cooked right before being delivered.

“Best meal in Tokyo!”
The best meal we had in Tokyo! Fun atmosphere and high quality yakitori. The blooming onion was to die for! Perfect after our long haul flight. Accommodating for English speakers too!

“Great place, atmosphere and food.”
We were able to get a last minute reservation. They have two locations in Ginza, but after a little confusion and a short walk, we enjoyed our experience. Beef and chicken skewers were all delicious. If you like saba (mackerel) I would recommend that particular dish.

“Great hospitality”
We tried Kushiyaki in Ginza and this restaurant is the place for it. Great food and great service made our night and we really enjoyed the time at Fukumimi !
