“Maimon Ginza Dinner”
We stopped in for appetizers and drinks. It took at least 45 minutes for a server to come over to help us, and another 45 minutes for the appetizers to come out. The food was average and the service was poor. We were then charged extra for an appetizer that we did not order and the staff refused to ...remove the charge from our bill. This entire experience was extremely disappointing. We would not recommend.

“Horrible ”
Arrived at 7:15-7:30, We had to look for someone to take our order, at this point it was 8:00pm, food didn’t come out until 9:00-9:30, by the time we finished eating it was 10:00pm. Bill was $520 for an average meal for 7 of us. $75 each for average food, beetroot salad was horrible 1/10. The only g...ood meal was the steak and Lobster. Gave us mussels as a “sorry for taking so long” but they were dry, main meals still took over an hour to come out. No still water was offered considering the room they put us into was steaming hot and had no aircon. The waitress was lovely. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone travelling to Ginza, very disappointed for my last night and meal in Ginza, won’t ever be coming back.

“A Japanese restaurant inspired by Italy”
Maimon describes itself as a seafood and charcoal grill. Another way of looking at it would be an Italian restaurant in a Japanese style. The restaurant is very stylish and the service is efficient, helpful and friendly. The seafood is excellent.

“Dangerous place!”
We went for the gourmand set menu, and warned several of the staff that one in our party was celiac. Despite these warnings, and repeated questions about each course on the menu, they managed to serve him wheat. The result was a quick end to the dinner and a visit to the hospital. Avoid this place!

“Disappointing”
The restaurant looks very good from the outside. The service was terrible. After three weeks in japan being well treated this was very disappointing. The servant had no attention for us. Most of the food was good. But our spaghetti with mushrooms and truffle was without tast. When we complained she ...just laughed a bit. We asked for the manager and in the end the cook came to our table. He appologised and offered us a 20% reduction on our bill. Over all it still was an expensive diner (13.000 yen). But the attitude of the servant was very annoying and ruined our evening.
