“Best sushi dinner in Tokyo”
We have returned to this small restaurant three times --- every time we visit Tokyo. We find a hotel that is within walking distance to the restaurant. The original restaurant is always full --- can't be seated without a reservation, even as late as 8 pm. We were directed to their second restaurant... which is on the second floor in a building nearby --- but we prefer the original one at the counter where we can see the chefs work and can occasionally ask for something we like. We went in person to get a late seating and we were accommodated. The sashimi platter serves the best and freshest fish. We order a few sushi items we like, toro, uni, ebi (small ones). The restaurant caters to local clients so there is no English menu --- sometimes we point to what other customers were eating or try to find a waiter who can speak some English. It's our go-to sushi restaurant in Tokyo.

“Best sushi dinner ever”
This little restaurant is only about a 5-minute walk from our hotel Chisun Inn Kamata. It is for locals . . . little English is spoken. The best strategy for tourists is to sit at the sushi bar and point as dishes are made up for customers. We ordered from the English menu --- assorted sashimi and s...ushi, sea urchin, tampura. Did not order the raw squid, cut fresh from the tank, and foreign tourists taken by their Japanese hosts told us the squid was so fresh it was moving when they put in their mouths! Everything was exquisite, fish we have not even seen in Canada. Highly recommended for tourists who want to eat like the locals. We spent C$100 for so much we could not finish.
