“Family Lunch Date”
The staffs are friendly and easy to approach. I did the reservation for smooth lunch set up. My kids had have. It’s just near the train station and Ueno Park.

“Just like in the US”
Giant portions, good taste, and free refills. If your looking for solid american food in Japan, TGI Fridays is the choice.

“The staff steal money”
I went during what I thought was happy hour, sat at the bar to enjoy happy hour with my friend( as you need to be at the bar to get happy hour prices) ....only to be charged full price... Not realizing this... I sent a message, privately to TGI Friday's in Ueno....for my message to be read and ignor...ed. I feel that I went there and had my money stolen, and when I asked about it.... My question was ignored. Good food, good drink...staff that steals...makes it pretty awful.

“Basic food, expensive and poor service”
On arriving we were shown to a table. We asked for a booth but told could only sit there at 6 pm. We then watched all the booths be filled up by 4 pm with Japanese!!! We had a variety of meals which took a while and were very basic. Go elsewhere.

“Great atmosphere, but didn't know what a medium steak was”
Went there for dinner with a few friends, and ordered a Jack Daniels 300g steak, medium, with the tableside guacamole as a starter. The starter was great. When the steak came however, I noticed fairly quickly that this was not a medium steak. The waitress noticed I was looking at my steak, and the m...anager came over to ask what was wrong. I then showed him the steak as on the picture, and he assured me that this was medium in Japan. I shrugged it off and accepted it as I don't like arguing when eating my dinner. Been to TGI Fridays in several other countries, and I've always gotten my medium steak as medium. I was probably just unlucky this time around.
