Whether you’re a seasoned whale veteran or a first time whale eater, you MUST come here. We went here for a late night whale meal. We ordered about 6 different a la carte dishes. They were all fantastic, and the staff was extremely polite, informative, and helpful. It was an amazing experience.... They even have a paper that shows you what kind of whale you’re eating and what part of the whale it is. Their English was good too!

The wait staff was wonderful, she was able to explain what each part of the meal that was served. I loved each part of the course, which my brother and I got the Kujira Uta course for 2. My brother never liked sashimi but surprisingly was able to enjoy whale steak. The atmosphere of the restaurant ...was nice, quiet and relaxing. There weren't many customers, even on a weekend evening, which is a shame as more people should try this out.

It is really hard to find whale and this is one of the only places that has it. I had the whale tempura and my companion had the whale steak and both were excellent. However, it is extremely hard to find and the staff (at least when we were there) didn't really speak english. But they do have an eng...lish menu. So you just have to point. We had the concierge at our hotel write out the address in japanese so we could give it to the cab driver. The cabbie took us to the wrong building, which only happened to be about a block away from the actual location, but since we didn't know it was that close we kept asking random people where it was, and kept getting directed to the wrong place, further and further away, until finally we caught back up with a policeman who was helping us, and a random person who spoke very good english and we called the restaurant, and they explained to them where it was, and in turn the random person explained to us where it was in english, so it all turned out ok. It also seems like it is not listed in the right location in google maps, which didn't help.

Whale sashimi wad exeptional, it was meaty and juicy and very tasty. whale tempura was crispy outside and juicy inside and had a distinctful flavour that would not suit everyone. smoked whale meat reminded me of beef jerky and wad nice. whale steak in soy sauce was juicy and aldo had the distinct...ful flavour from the trmpura. maybe cooked whale meat gets it. meal wadn't cheap but not expsnsive either.
