Staff was friendly and accommodating for a group of five. Service was very quick. Tempura was very mediocre. It was hot and fresh, but the batter was doughy and thick. The quality of ingredients, especially the shrimp, was average. The cutting/slicing of the ingredients was below average. Not a terr...ible price but the tempura itself was quite disappointing.

This restaurant is on the 8th floor of the Seibu Building right by Shibuya crossing. I had the mixed tempura set (shrimp, squid, whiting, three veg), rice, sashimi and pickles for JPY2900. The items are prepared freshly and brought to you by the chef when they are ready. On the plus side there is... a pot of tentsuyu on the table so you can help yourself (I often find id like a little more than most places serve you), you get free roasted tea (endless fill ups), you also get free rice refills on request). However, it’s not the best tempura I’ve had; lacking in flavour and on the soft side.

Old tempura restaurant with a discriminating attitude towards foreigners . There were only 3 tables in the entire restaurant. Yet, the server devoted 90 percent of her time to one table in the corner. Food is not bad but service is lacking. Tempura chef hurried off when we tried ordering. Go find te...mpura somewhere else.

Recalling this experience, the light battered tempura seafood was great. Always admired the attention to details in their service and choice of accompaniments. Various salt seasoning and radishes with Ume plum goes really well with the tempura. Our eating pace was standard, one after another howeve...r when I get to my last favourite Ebi tempura 🍤 it was already soft and soggy. Oh well! It was still a good tempura place but nothing “wow”.
