“A somewhat innovative menu but a bit rushed”
The restaurant stands alone on a quiet part of the street near the park. Our dinner booking was made a week in advance however the only time slot available was at 5:30pm. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and the menu was pre-determined so our only decision to make was the wine. The presentat...ion, taste, and quality of the food was good however the pacing was a bit troubling. Every dish came within a few minutes of each other and we barely had time to finish a dish before the next came. At one point I had 2 different dishes in front of me and the third approaching via my peripheral vision. For money spent here I would expect a little attention to detail when it came to creating a welcoming guest ambiance. That being said the food was good and the value wasn't too bad for what we got.

“Excellent Waygu beef - especially the beef sashimi”
I found this restaurant from a website (which I forgot the website) in which none of my friend been there before. I took the subway and 15 mins walk to the restaurant. I made the reservation and picked the innocent course. The Waygu beef was so good with multiple way of cooking. The beef sashimi... was outstanding. The grilled A5 Waygu was excellent as well. All dishes were so good and the only one that I am not a big fan was sukiyaki as I think it’s a bit too sweet for me. There is an option of rice/noodle before the dessert. Please do try the garlic fried rice. It is unexpectedly good. For the final touch, the shaved ice is a good wrapped up for the meal. Overall, excellent meal and very good service. I will definitely come back for my next visit to Tokyo.

“Excellent, although very expensive restaurant”
My wife and I came across this restaurant by accident because the restaurant we were looking for was closed. So we ended up here. And we decided to try this out as our one big splurge dinner in Tokyo. We always wanted to try yagyu beef and it did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the presentation. ... It is definitely a restaurant for meat. You don't want to bring your vegan friend along. For a very fancy restaurant, people were there with children and my wife and I were dressed very casually and felt comfortable. Although some people do dress up a lot for it. But it's in Roppongi, so that's to be expected. My only complaint and why I didn't go 5 stars was that the restaurant charged my credit card in US dollars instead of Japanese yen even though I would have preferred the latter and I believe it is proper to ask.

“Worth it”
Hidden in Roppongi, around 15 mn by foot from the metro station. It is however worth the move. Delicious japanese beef cooked for you by skilled waiter. You can even chose the different parts you want be prepared. In addition, large specialized wine menu. High level cooking (and price) in casual a...tmosphere. Just go!

神戸牛、近江牛、佐賀牛、松坂ビーフのA%以上の肉が、これでもかとばかりに出てくる。素材に加えてオーナーの創作が冴えて、変わった肉料理が次々に出てくる。生肉のマリネに始まり、極上タンのあぶり、次から次へとチャンピオン牛のオンパレード。締めは、熱々の鉄なべにすき焼きがでてきて、タレにした溶き卵を天日干しにしたご飯にかけて卵かけご飯にする。大阪出身のオーナーが仕切っているユニークなお店。うまいけど、高い。The unique owner speaks good English because he was in the abroad for years.
