“Cool and different Italian in Japan”
This restaurant is very chic, cool and laid-back but serves up amazing food. The service is outstanding and the kitchen is open and in the middle so you can communicate with the chef. Very different but delicious food.

“Intimate and chic”
Reservations are a must at this gem located s few steps below street level. Most seating is at a bar that wraps around the chefs at work . Menu specials are in Japanese and our chef/waiter had limited English . Regular menu is in both languages. Meat pie appetizer was amazing. Our chef left his sta...tion briefly to bid us goodbye at the door.

“Awesome Japanese-Inspired Italian”
You wouldn't necessarily assume you'd get great Italian food in Japan, but we loved Aponte! Just a few blocks from the Westin Tokyo where we were staying, we thought the food was great, they had nice wines and the atmosphere was cozy but bustling. The lamb, pork shoulder, (SPICY!) chicken meatballs ...and pasta with octopus ragu were all fantastic.
