I've tried a few sushi places around Shinagawa when traveling to Tokyo. First time at this restaurant. We let the chef prepare us a suggestion of nigiri. While it was creative and tasty, it was average, and not the best flavor I've had in this area

An eatery place which affordable and fresh in your food offering. Very much automated in sushi ordering and plate counting. Neat offering of green powder to prepare your own green tea. Attractive gift targeting children and what a great way to encourage more consumption! Service personel was courteo...us and accommodative.

While we really enjoyed the service, we found the sushi quality not worth the money. We have been to other similarly priced sushi restaurants in Tokyo and NYC with much better quality fish.

Was here again to eat Sushi on my last night in Tokyo...the place is close to the hotel and serves really good sushi. It is a strongly lit place, but service is good and hearthy.

I heard from many people - Japanese and foreigners - that this was the place. It was difficult for me to locate, but just go to up to the 4th floor, and then follow the signs to "East" and then look for the long queue of people sitting on the bench to the side of the crossing area, with anticipation... on their faces. I ended up talking with a family from Thailand, and they had heard from multiple folks that this was the best. I ended up at the bar, sitting alone, watching to follow local custom. A Sapporo beer helped me get in the mood for the tuna tray - 5 kinds of tuna. Heaven. Melt-in-your-mouth. I said many "thank you for your flesh" to the fish, and "thank you for your mastery" to the air, and "domo arigato" to the chef who was very attentive. Not expensive, and worth the wait. I will definitely return if I ever get back to Tokyo!
