“Surprisingly good meal”
We wanted to have meat for dinner and there’s limited options in the area so we decided to try this place and we were really happy with our meal. We did have some sashimi to start and it was just ok but the meat was wonderful and we really enjoyed that part of the meal. Service can get slow and Engl...ish is not a strong part of the serving staff but they find a way to help and there is an English menu. And don’t miss out on their salt chocolate for dessert - it was fabulous.

“Don’t go if you can’t speak Japanese”
The food at this restaurant is really good but the service is TERRIBLE! The waitress literally cannot speak English at all and they don’t even have an English menu. If you can speak Japanese then this restaurant is totally a 9/10, the food is really good. You will feel very UNWELCOME and UNCOMFORTAB...LE if you can’t speak Japanese.

“Felt very unwelcome, couldn’t stay to order!”
Presently on a guided trip of Japan passing through Tokyo. After looking for an authentic Japanese to try a Sukiyaki dish I settled on Hibiki as I the food looked high quality so I suggested it to my family. When arriving I asked if they could speak English I was told a blunt ‘No’... as our time w...ent on in the restaurant I began to realise this wasn’t a joke/sarcasm. The floor manager found a waitress who could help us a little but she was not confident and we did our best to find a table. I’ll add the the place was busy with locals and quite a few groups of Japanese businessmen groups. Sadly our experience rapidly mulled our appetite. We felt so unwelcome we decided to leave. If looking for a more welcoming experience (particularly if you are a tourist) there are other Japanese restaurants on the lower floors still with a bay view and infinitely more hospitality!

“High level Japanese Food ”
The Hibiki offers you wide choices of traditional Japanese food at a great quality. Everybody will find something here all dishes wether it’s beef, fish, noodle are prepared to perfection and taste great. The Sake selection is also very nice. Overall great place to go and enjoy a nice dinner.

“Not impressed”
Business meeting first night in town. Ambiance was less than inviting. Servers were not well informed of menu. Prices were average for area.
