I found this place on the Kamakura Prince Hotel HP. As we have tried Prince Hotel restaurants before, our expectations were high. We went for lunch and the place did not disappoint. The food is great and the view of Enoshima Island and the see were awesome. We heard that in the winter you can also s...ee Mt. Fuji. We are definitely coming again!

Kamakura by The Sea, The Ancient City, is only about an hour frm Yokohama. Adorned with Beautiful Shrines and Temples, and Beautiful Small Towns, Kamakura has A Very Serene Beautiful Spiritual Athmosphere. Of Importance is a Visit to The Daibutsu (The Great Buddha) on Hasse Street. Pls pay Homage..., One Bow to The Great Buddha, will take You a Long Way. Just before The Daibutsu, visit The Temple of Kanon. Beautiful in Spring with Peonies and Sakura, tended by the Mindful Hands of The Monks. There are many Shrines and Temples of Different Japanese Traditions worth visiting or exploring hiking around. My caddie took us to A Small Hiding Temple on top of a Hill, The Temple where General Sasaki used to meditate with His Foxes, A Mysterious Ambience. The Kamakura Prince Hotel itself is a Charming very well kept Hotel. I found it in the internet. The room is fairly large with a huge Tatami bed. My room has a View of The Mount Fuji by The Sea. In the Spring Morning Sun Light, its Perfect Triangular From with The Snow Cap, is most Beautiful and Serene, referred to as Fuji San. For such a Room with A Spectacular View, the price is not so expensive. You can book through the internet. Though The Lobby and The Restaurant look deserted. The Food is ok, but You can easily find cheaper food at small food stalls along Hasse Street. And it is within walking distance frm the small train station, the transport around Kamakura. It is worth exploring the towns, with cute little shops of arts and trinkets. There are small alleys around The Train Station with all kind of merchandise that is Kamakura. While in Big Cities, people wear grey and dark tones, in Kamkura, the clothing and the art taste is more colorful, vibrant, young, artful and Spiritual. I did not have much time to explore the whole Ancient Region of Kamakura. It is definitely worth visiting and savoring, especially if You Love The Ancient and The Spiritual. With The Tori Gate (Temple Gate), The Sakura, The Garden, and Fuji San, Kamakura is One of The Gate to Ancient Japan. Splendid !!!
