I arrived at the restaurant at 5:00 pm for an early dinner. At that time it was about 40% capacity. I was quickly seated. My Japanese is not good enough to use the automated ordering system but that was no issue. One of the servers who spoke great English came over to help take me through the pr...ocess and explained the menu. The katsu was some of the best that I had ever eaten. Free refills on the rice, cabbage and pickles. You won’t go home hungry. Worth a try.

This was some of the best food I had during my 3 week stay in Japan. Delicious meat and the sauce you 'make' is divine. Service was also excellent and the staff very friendly, even with a slight language barrier. Do not pass on the chance to visit this place.

This is one of the best tonkatsu places in Tsukuba. Everything is just delicious. If you are in Tsukuba and feeling like tonkatsu, this is the place. Sometimes around noon (and evening), there could be a line. But don't worry! Usually you get seated fast, and even if not, it's well worth the wait!

It is near the hotel that we stayed. When we walked pass Ton Q, we were immediately attracted to the place. And it didn't disappoint! Food is yummy. Service is great, A waitress speaks good English and the menu has pictures, so it's no problem for us non-Japanese speakers.

This is definitely the place to go if you fancy a fried dinner. It's always tasty, whatever you choose, with seasonal treats like fish or seafood made obvious for you. Can get around with little Japanese too. Ok for a family with small kids.
