“Great tofu restaurant!”
Futaba is a delicious traditional tofu shop and restaurant at the very center of the neighborhood of Nihonbashi. The atmosphere is quiet and the personnel very courteous. At lunch time you can choose among different meal sets (prices ranging from 850-1500 yen), each offering a combination of differ...ent tofu, meat and vegetable dishes accompanied by rice and miso soup. Each part of the meal is carefully prepared and elegantly presented. The flavours are overall delicate and sophisticated. I've been here three times already and plan on going again before leaving Japan. I particularly recommend the agedashi tofu meal set and the amazake (sweet sake) ice cream, which you can find at the shop downstairs!

“the tofu donuts...!!!”
this is a great mom and pop tofu shop in the more local-ish district of ningyocho. this shop has all kinds of tofu products and everything is great! the tofu donuts are light in taste and will make you eat the whole package all by yourself!
