Staff's correspondence at this shop is very bad. It is really disgusting that there are clerks who take orders in correspondence with the eyes from the top and make customers uncomfortable before eating. Shops that serve delicious cuisine were impressed with human nature, but this is not the case. I...t is a shame because it is also on the taste. Is Michelin an evaluation only of taste? I wonder what is being evaluated as a standard. このお店は人気店なのに、店員の対応は最も最悪だ。 上から目線の対応でオーダーを取り、食べる前からお客様を不快にさせる店員がいるのには本当にガッカリだ。 美味しいお料理を提供するお店は、人間性も良いと勘違いしてたが、こちらはそうではない。 それが味にも出てるので残念だ。 ミシュランは味のみの評価なのか？ 何を基準に評価してるのか疑問に思う。 ①お料理 並ロースかつ定食1350円。 お肉の質がよく美味しいが、ヒレカツにすれば良かったと後悔した。 ごはん、キャベツのお代わり自由なのが嬉しいサービスではあるが、態度の悪い男性店員は呼んでも来ない。女性店員はとても感じが良いため助かった。 ②店員の対応 男性店員の態度は他のお客様にも最悪だった。 人気店なだけに、天狗になってるのか？ お客様より店員が偉いお店なので、居心地は良いとは言えない。 気分良く美味しい食事がしたかったので、非常に残念に思う。

There can be a line for this tonkatsu place. The price is not that bad. The service can be slow though but the staff are working double time to cater to every customer. Very near the Iidabashi station.

June 2017に訪問

Five of us went for lunch, arriving at 12:45. There were about ten or so waiting on the stairs ahead of us, and the restaurant handed out menus to those waiting and took some orders ahead to speed things up once people were seated. After 25 minutes we were seated and there was soon no more line, so... it seems that arriving at 13:15 or a bit later would mean little to no wait. The lunch menu is fairly simple, consisting of hireikatsu, another version of hireikatsu not breaded and fried but with a ginger sauce, another katsu I did not know and a fried chicken dish. No one raved about, nor mentioned that their dish was particularly good. My classic hireikatsu was very good, with delicate crispy coating and fried just the right way, tender and juicy. The service was spotty, at its best – two miso soups and two rice bowls served, right away, and then three lunches served, but no other soup or rice bowls for another 25 minutes, and so on. There was a very large (30 minutes!) time gap between the first main dish and the last being served – 30 minutes, even though by the time we were seated, no more than six new people were seated. Very poor execution, in my view. The restaurant has an excellent reputation, so they are either milking their reputation or we hit them on a bad day. - but a restaurant with a "Bib" should not have such a bad day. Beware.

This is a wonderful place. Staff is friendly and cheerful. Limited english Spoken though. Ebi fried, mince meat katsu, and of course the tonkatsu were delicious! Do not hesitate if you speak a few japanese words. Très bon Tonkatsu a Shinjuku. Un des meilleurs où j'ai eu l'occasion de diner.
