“Delicious experience at the Sumitomo Building.”
Our last evening in Tokyo, after watching a sound and light show on the Facade of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, we looked for a place for dinner. It turned out from the web that one of the best addresses in the area was this Chinese restaurant, inside the Sumitomo Building. It wasn't e...asy to find it inside the building, we had to ask for directions twice. But in the end we reached it. The restaurant has an elegant appearance and is quiet (also because it was not crowded with customers, being late for Japanese habits), therefore pleasant. But above all I would like to underline the tasty food it offers. There were six of us, but we separated our bills. My wife and I ordered two assortments of Chinese dumplings. Each plate contained six dumplings: two filled with green tea, two with crab, two with “soup”. They were the central dish of the evening, extraordinarily delicate in taste, delicious. We also ordered a bowl of corn soup. Abundant, it was shared between us. Just as a medium beer was shared between us. Bill, for two people, 4810 yen. Recommended experience.
