Tempura is among the favourite cuisines if you are eating in Japan and want something cooked. This has gently fried vegetables and sea food which is dipped in a very cold batter and then put into very hot oil which gives it a great crackling crispiness. we had a set meal and it had a melange of vegg...ies and sea food including eel, white fish and prawns We added and extra shrimp course which was the best. The rice and soup come at the end This is an iconic Tempura place in many locations This was a new one but very well served and welcomed!

We went ro have tempura and it was wonderful. Although we did not understand a word, the different fish, vegetables, salad and soup were extremely good We sat at the bar and the service of the chef as well as the waitress superb

Excellent tempura served and prepared in front of you. Top quality as good as any tempura at the best restaurants in Japan.

We had lunch here on the day of our departure from Japan. Nice, clean and bright place. The staff seem to realize that everyone keeps a tight schedule at lunch. The 2 chefs were incredibly efficient. We had a whole heap of food but spent only 1 hour there. Limited seating - 12 seats at the coun...ter only, with 3 small tables off to the side. Counter menu different from table menu. I would strongly recommend counter seats, where one communicates with the chefs directly. Orders are placed directly with the chef and they never seem to forget any items - a la carte is much better as they cook it item by item right in front of you. All seafoods were really fresh AND freshly cooked, they took it right out of the tempura wok and place it on your plate. Oysters and white fish highly recommended. The bill was surprisingly reasonable for an upmarket venue. Drinks list adequate for lunch. I hope to return for dinner some time.
