“A sad shadow of its not so distant past”
This was beyond doubt my favorite place to eat and drink in Shinjuku. However, it seems that they either changed chefs or downgraded the ingredients or both: little is left of the brilliance of their original menu. The once memorable fries, the superb crab and tomato pasta - dishes continue carry th...e same names but have lost the touch completely. Same goes for the other dishes and that's very saddening. But hey, it used to be so good and reasonably priced that it was obviously too good to last. Hoping this review will make them reconsider their path.

“a sad revisit”
this was my favorite place in my shinjuku and i went there many times and brought friends along to experience the wonder. but it was probably too good to last. they must have changed chefs or downgraded the ingredients or both. the french fries lost the charm and the crab pasta is but a sad reminder... of what it used to be. the rest wasn't anything special either. i hope they somehow go back to what they were. until then, i'm leaving waigaya in the past with a tearful eye.
