“Top notch omakase experience”
One of the best and the most authentic omakase experience. It’s a small and intimate restaurant, seats around 10pax at one go. The quality of food and service was top notch. The food was well presented and outstanding. I particularly like the spring roll with blue cheese and truffle, I’m not a fan o...f blue cheese and my hubby is not a fan of truffle but we both enjoyed this dish very much. Totally worth every penny. Must book in advanced as it’s a small restaurant.

“Top Omakase experience with Wagyu theme”
I had dinner at the counter with my wife and 2 teenagers. I arrived 5 minutes late, which is a huge violation of Japan fine dining etiquette. I could sense it when we arrived, the welcome was quite cold. I felt really bad about this. My fault, apologized to chef Jo and this was important. Jo and his... team became super hosts from this point forward. Ordered a great Napa wine and going forward enjoyed a sequence of dishes that show the competence and skill level. We spent almost 3 weeks in Japan, enjoying Michelin starred dining on multiple nights. Guess what: This was the best dinner of our entire journey.

“A Michelin-starred Japanese beef kappo restaurant. I like this restaurant because of its relaxed atmosphere.”
It is a great place to enjoy many dishes in small portions. All the dishes are sophisticated and I am glad that there are many seafood dishes. The dishes that are served with a sense of the seasons are another reason for the high level of satisfaction.

From the moment you enter Niku Kappo Jou, you’re welcomed with refined elegance and warmth. Each course is a celebration of premium Japanese beef, masterfully prepared and presented. The balance of flavor, texture, and technique is flawless. A must-visit for true wagyu lovers.

“Kobe beef meets fine dining, cannot recommend highly enough”
This was a truly excellent prix fixe meal and our favorite on our whole trip. Every dish was a hit, which is a rarity for us when fine dining. Most, but not all of the dishes, featured Kobe beef. Some dishes were very simple and let the quality of the ingredients shine through. Others were elevated ...versions of Japanese classics (curry, shabu shabu, etc.). And a few were extremely creative takes on established dishes (a beef tartare with uni instead of egg, a spring roll with truffles and a bleu cheese sauce that came together like a Philly cheesesteak. If you're looking for excellent Japanese steak presented in a medley of amazing ways, you should definitely book a dinner here. Drink pairing and service were superb as well.
