This was our first dining experience in Japan and it was delicious!! My husband got tons of different sushi and I got the udon noodles with thick broth. We had tiramisu and the pudding for dessert. We never wanted to leave! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. We will most definitely be bac...k!

The Sushi at Kura Sushi is just great. Fresh fish and tasty rice. You can choose between a lot of different variations. Whether salmon or bacon, you will find something you like. This sushi place is awesome! Great place for kids and couples! You get to play a game for a chance to win a small prize (e.g. a small pin). You get one play for every 5 plates. You put the plates in a little metal slot beside the hot water dispenser at your table. It will start as soon as you put in... 5 plates (no need to press any buttons). If you think this is great, it gets better! Every plate is only 100 yen + tax! If the item is over 100 yen, it would tell you on the screen. If there is no price beside the item, it means that it is 100 yen. Although there is no English menu, there are pictures on the screen so you can kind of tell what you are ordering. We arrived at the restaurant around 3pm so we didn’t have to wait too long to get a seat. However, the restaurant was still very busy and completely full so you might have to wait a really long time to get a seat if you come during peak hours.

We were staying with Japanese friends who took us here. We absolutely loved it. You need to understand a bit of Japanese otherwise you'll struggle with the Japanese only iPad order screen. The restaurant is excellent value sushi, ramen and tempura restaurant. 5 of us ate 24 plates for only ¥3800. ...Every five plates sent down the disposal chute (built into the table) enters you for a prize, if you win the prize arrives above the conveyors, it a kinder egg type prize for kids. If you order from the iPad the selected food arrives on the second level "turbo conveyor". There are two numbers in the order screen the first is the minutes you wait for an ordered dish the second is the number of plates you already had. Finally you can take from the sushi carousel. Every table has a hot tap so you can make your own tea for free. If you want a beer you need to go to the beer pouring machine at ¥500 for a Sapporo. All in all it was a very fun crazy Japanese experience. Thoroughly recommend it to any westerns wanting something very Japanese.
