仏蘭西料亭 横濱元町 霧笛楼

Treated like royalty with artistically presented sumptuous offerings. Each one tasted as delicious as their appearance promised. Although this is expensive dining, it is worth each and every yen. This was one of the finest meals, ambiance, service, presentation, taste in this writer's experience.

Wonderful experience in Japan to taste great French cuisine . Beautiful set up and using high quality porcelain hand made plates for dining. Served French cuisine and with limited wine selection. The price not so cheap but the quality of the food is phenomenal. Creative food with use of Japanese ing...redients cookies in French way.. do try their lobster tartar and is out of the world as well as the smoked duck! Just lovely.. enjoyed it with very attentive service. However , food served pretty slow and you need patience to wait for tour good quality food. Located in a quite Motomachi area ..

We went to the downstairs restaurant for our anniversary and had a first class experience. The atmosphere was just right with lovely touches like stained glass windows and colorful porcelain. Service was professional, friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed nor had to wait. Cuisine was clearly ...French inspired with creative Japanese freshness and seafood biased. Every dish we had was a bouquet of well paired flavors. The wine list was well balanced by Japanese standards and we would have just appreciated a more diverse selection by the glass.

I made a reservation for lunch several weeks ago and so I didn't need to wait when arrived. I ordered the special 35-anniversary lunch menu and just knew a 4-course set with appetizer, fish course, meat course and dessert. The food is really tasty and presentation is beautiful. The environment is q...uiet and cosy. Just one comment, as we don't speak Japanese, we couldn't know what we ate for lunch as the staff couldn't speak English. I know it is common in Japan but I'm a bit surprised as this is a French restaurant. Overall, I had a wonderful time there and would be back again~

We went there for lunch on a weekend. It was crowded, but fortunately we could get a table since we arrived at around 1:30. If I were to go again at around 12:00 I would make a reservation. The lunch menu consisted of several course menus, we chose the medium price one. The fish was done perfe...ctly but my favorite dish was the lobster blanc-mange. The food was very good, the service was efficient and gracious, but what makes this restaurant special is the Meiji era atmosphere and interior - which is a perfect match for its location on a side street of Yokohama’s Old Town. We liked it so much that we used it as the location for a group brunch with the excellent result of happy guests.
