おそばの甲賀

To still a soba craving I decided to wander into Osoba No Koga. Food came fast and the noodles were delicious. I am deducting a point, because the portion was a little on the small side. Service was attentive and friendly.

This quaint little restaurant serves the most delicious soba! I love the texture of the soba, it’s flavorful with a slight chewy bite. The uni on the soba is definitely high quality too, very thick and creamy with lots of unami. I have always wanted to try this restaurant when I walk passed it, cos ...it looks cool from the outside. But, finally it’s the Sudachi Soda that made me visited the restaurant. It’s the best soba for the hot summer season ever. So beautifully presented, and tasty! Love it! Please make a reservation before visiting as it is very popular.

Was suppose to dine at Kill Bill restaurant but they were full. Walked around and decided to be adventurous. Led by my 2 Caucasian bosses, we stumbled into this restaurant. Everything was in Japanese but the kind waitress offered an English menu and we were sold! Restaurant has a cosy homely feel, ...and sits only around a dozen guests. Food was truly authentic Japanese. We had a few side dishes and of course their signature cold and hot soba noodles. I had the Oyako-soba noodles - i've always had it with rice (Oyakodon) but first time with noodles! Will definitely recommend anyone seeking an authentic experience.
