There were a lot of positives about this restaurant, mainly the service and general ambience but overall we left with something of a sense of disappointment. We chose the 10 course menu which seemed to focus more on fish than the expected vegetables. We had raw fish, shell fish, barbecued fish… All ...were well prepared but lacking any “wow” factor you anticipate at a Michelin star restaurant. This was even more starkly illustrated by the heralded vegetable course which included some beautiful looking specimens. Sadly though their natural flavour was removed by poaching in dashi or some other pickling. The evening passed quickly, but the disappointment will last longer.

An incredible experience of food and culture. I had a hell of a time. Each dish was more interesting than the last. The flavors were diverse and interesting and the whole time it was just an eye opening, rich experience. The staff were very accommodating and professional. I'm not a dining "snob" I w...ould be as a happy in a noodle shop as a fine establishment. It was just an incredible and unforgettable time.

The restaurant is located in the 6-8th floor in a building in Ginza. We ate on floor 6 which is an open kitchen the other floor are private rooms. The restaurant offers different kaiseki menus. We went on the Kiwani one. We arrived early so we waited atthe extremely nice bar on the 7th floor. Highl...y recommend. The beef in the beef dish was one of the best I have ever had. The tofu was excellent and this was my first time to eat soft shell turtle. The 3 types of Sake we had went very well with the food. It was very difficult to make reservation, we had to ask our hotel reception to make it. But once you are there they are the nicest people. The main waitress knew very good English and once they heard it is my birthday they even produced a birthday plate with happy birthday written tin cream in Hebrew. Truly amazing. It is expensive but it worth it

I recently had the pleasure of eating at this fantastic restaurant - amazing food! We had the vegetarian option which was superb. Watching the chefs in the kitchen was also great entertainment. A Gem!

One of the best meals I've ever had. The food was not only delightful but also imaginative and as beautiful as the parade of plates and bowls used. Service was impeccable. The restaurant has an open concept kitchen and we enjoyed watching people, including the servers, preparing the food; we neve...r felt that the preparation interfered with our enjoyment of the food, as it can in some noisy and harried open kitchen restaurants. The elevator to the restaurant can be difficult to find among the bright Ginza lights (the dark corridor to the elevator is next to what is currently a Kate Spade clothing store) but it's well worth the search.
