FLIPPER’S 渋谷店

Im very impressed by the signature “Kiseki Pancakes.” These soufflé pancakes are incredibly light and fluffy, with a texture that feels like you're eating clouds. Even though the cafe was filled by couples and groups of girls, which made me feel a bit awkward, the deliciousness of the pancakes made ...it all worthwhile. I couldn’t resist visiting the shop again the day after. Totally worth it.

We came here to try these souffle pancakes which everybody raves about to try. We ordered a plate of the pancakes with strawberries and strawberry mochi, and a latte each. There was some confusion with our drinks orders and other tables drinks orders so took a while for our correct drinks to come..., but I guess these things happen. That said, I wouldn't recommend the coffees here. We had hot lattes and they were incredibly week and for the price of over £3 each they definitely were not worth it. These were put through as a hot drink (600 yen) and a refill (350 yen) which we were glad for. In terms of the pancakes themselves, I was quite disappointed. They had more of an eggy taste than what I was expecting, but they were nice and fluffy and was nice to have strawberries and mochi too. I would have them again, but I wouldn't jump at the chance for over £9 a plate. The overall place seemed popular and staff were friendly so would recommend the place if you're up for trying them.

Absolutely delicious lunch of pancakes. We tried the strawberry, apples and salted Carmel We did quite a bit of sharing when all the food arrived. In total it was just under an hour from start of line until we had our food. We really were looking forward to going here and very glad we did.

Stumbled upon Flippers whilst wondering the streets of Shibuya looking for a snack. The queue suggested Flippers was worth investigating and tempted by the menu, we committed to a 20 min wait to get a table. Flippers is a soufflé pancake place with various toppings from fried chicken to fresh fru...it. They also have some salads and various juices and sodas. We ordered whilst still queuing and were told the pancakes would take 15 mins. Instead we waited nearly 40 mins, with only the painfully milky coffee for company. When the pancakes came, they were almost worth the wait. The pancakes are delicious with the strawberry and cinnamon apple being the crowd pleasers. Definitely worth a visit but expect a long wait and avoid the coffee!

Slow doesn’t come close. Staff do not speak clear English so the information given about waiting times is highly confusing. We queued for a table for 1h15 (despite being allegedly told it would be 40 minutes) and then were told the food order would be 40 minutes (despite the menu saying that order...s for pancakes take 20 minutes). Staff are unbearably slow, no urgency and sum up this place - arrogant and totally lacking in care for customer service. No pandake (in fact any food!) can be worth a 2 hour wait when the queue wasn’t that big! Avoid like the plague.
