ピッツェリア バル ファンタジスタ

Stumbled upon this lovely restaurant after walking the streets of ueno. Server was very welcoming as well as the chefs. Pizza was great, great flavours and simple. Hats off the the pizza chefs, good job!

So far the best pizza in Tokyo. Super recommendable! Attention was really kind and the place very comfortable.

The pasta with clamps was awasome!! The Service was good. Only one thing to correct. There was a strange smell that seems to come from the bathrooms sometimes.

If you need just a little break from amazing, first-class, japanese food, and you are around Ueno...this is the place to go. There is no doubt that Japanese are perfectionists and this pizza is a proof of it. It is perfect, with fresh ingridients, thin crust, etc. My favourite: Margarita, Buffallo... Mozzarella. Try it!

I was a little bit reluctant to dine at this, off the beaten track, italian restaurant, but it turned out to be an enjoyable dinner. The pasta was really very good, the salad fresh, and the dessert very tasty. Good also the wine (by the way, they have quite a selection of bottles on display which yo...u can buy - though rather pricey). Service was good and atmosphere (we were on the second floor) very calm and relaxing.
