Some people may afraid from it's name, But beef tongue is really tasting great!! It's actually a traditional dish from northeast Japan Sendai, And this type of BBQ beef tongue is getting very popular recently! I really love the thick, firm texture from biting, with it's juicy rich taste right fresh ...from it's grill, long lineup usually is expected around meal time, to me it worth the wait. But I feel the beef tail clear soup is only average.

The place sounds delicious as soon as you step inside. English menu available. We had ordered 1.5 portions of char-grilled ox tongue each. Pros: Very busy/popular place for dine in and take away (expect queues). I loved the simple flavours and char of the ox tongue served with rice and soup. This m...eal set was ¥2,430. Very delicious and satisfying overall. Cons: None.

We selected this restaurant because of a long line that we observed, passing by in Landmark Plaza at noon. We were back about 3 PM. There was no line, but the place was still busy. All the dishes that are served in this restaurant are based on beef tongue. We ordered stew (first picture) and beef... tongue grilled with some Japanese sauce (second picture). Both were delicious. Beside food, the restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated (third picture), and service is fast. I would recommend this place for western visitors. I also added a photograph of the entrance (forth picture). I hope it will help in finding this restaurant among many others.

If you are interested to try cow tongue, this is the good place to eat. It's located in busy area for restaurants within Landmark Plaza but well known for its unique kind of food. It's clean and fast in action but you may need to wait in the line for few minutes.
