“Excellent Thai curry lunch”
We stopped in for lunch on our way to a museum, and this restaurant was our second choice. But if we're ever in the neighborhood again, this will be our first choice. The restaurant was tiny, with just half a dozen tables. They have a very nice lunch special--offering their special Massaman curry... as well as a "double" curry option, a half portion of the Massaman curry and a green curry made with prawn and avocado. As part of the lunch special, small Thai spring rolls and a bowl of soup. I opted for the double and was not disappointed. The Massaman curry is indeed special--seasoned with 10 spices that gave it an aromatic full body unlike any curry I've had. But the green curry was equally delicious. I'd never tried avocado in curry before. It works well. As I said, we'll stop in here again next time we're in the neighborhood.
