DO NOT GO HERE. On October 13th, 2024 at about 5:10pm I went here with my Thai girlfriend for dinner. I was speaking Japanese as soon as we got there, and the girl who greeted/seated had me thinking “whoa she’s rude” from the minute we walked in, but I ignored it. I had mostly placed my order after ...scanning the QR code, with 8 or 9 items in our cart, but didn’t notice the submenu of drinks and couldn’t see a highball anywhere. Just then the same female staff was at my shoulder and I asked in Japanese something like “oh is there a highball here?” And she didn’t answer, instead stabbing at my phone and aggressively pointing at the QR code as though I had no idea what I was doing. Her face was angry, I can’t over exaggerate how aggressive and quite literally violent her demeanor was. She never once responded to anything I said in Japanese, to the point that I’m still not positive she speaks Japanese. She started stabbing at my phone, at which point I showed her that I already had selected several items and was basically finished ordering but couldn’t find the highball. She didn’t care. She literally stabbed at my phone and exxed out the window, deleting my entire order. She then did a bunch of stuff on my phone enabling English—mind you, I had no idea what she was doing. I had never asked her to do anything, nor was I having any trouble ordering other than not seeing the highball (at the point when she came over to our table, I’d only spent a few seconds looking at the drinks menu). So after she’d erased my entire order and furiously stormed off without a word, me and my gf talked for a few minutes trying to figure out if she was as insane as she seemed. We concluded that this was the absolute most effed up, worst experience in a restaurant either of us have ever had. It had felt abusive and hateful in there from the minute we walked in. We left 100 yen on the table and left. My girlfriend was crying when we got outside and immediately wanted to leave Shibuya rather than find another place to eat. I’ve eaten at countless restaurants in Japan over the last 23 years I’ve been coming here for months at a time. I’ve run into confusion, but this was totally insane. I can’t over emphasize how aggressive, hateful, and bullying the demeanor of this horrible person was. She should be fired, and if she’s not the owner, the fact that she feels emboldened enough to be that abusive to patrons for no reason other than that they’re gaijin tells me that this is a bad place. I have no idea how this place has such a high rating—I’m sure it’s good, but there are delicious izakaya and yakitori places all over Japan. If you hate gaijin, fine, but don’t work in or own a place a few hundred feet from the shibuya scramble. Cannot overstate how abusive, borderline violent, and hate-filled this experience was. It ruined my girlfriend’s last day in Japan and she was literally crying from it, which is why I’m posting this review.

Good service and good food. Nice lemon sour. It is good to have snacks and drink with friends here. Have a fun experience.

Great food, good price, hard for English speakers. Sign outside says, English menu but when downloading QR code for ordering, there was no English option. Bring a translation app, to help ask what is what. ;) for 3 people our bill came to $39 USD . I also like that they have baskets for your purse u...nder table and you can hang your coats on the walls, with coat hangers provided at each table.

Very tasty chicken theme restaurant . Only let down is the service which is lacking. Given staff can’t speak English , the translated menu is also inadequate as some items are translated into Japanese which resulted in us wrongly ordering some chicken innards by accident . The secret chicken is a m...ust order just that the preparation can be a tad inconsistent . Our 2nd order tasted much better than the first which was super salty. Overall a fairly satisfactory and inexpensive find at touristy shibuya.
