Encountering this restaurant, just steps from the train station, was a surprise. I intended to lunch and was fortunate there was a table without a reservation. The set meal consisted of lobster bisque, red wine poached egg on garlic toast, duck with vegetables, mont blanc and coffee. The duck, wi...th peppercorn and rock salt encrusted skin, was the stand-out dish. Service was good and the price was all right. It is obvious that the chef is classically trained though the food presentation is slightly dated. Altogether a good meal.
