My husband and I ate here last night and we had one of the best dinner experiences we have ever had! The service is top-notch, the courses are so yummy and the ambience is very unique. We were in our own room where the server would come in to deliver the food and we had a button to buzz him in if w...e needed to. Thank you to Morimoto for the wonderful service! We debated about which place to eat for the Wagyu and we wanted something upscale and fancy and we got exactly what we asked for! Highly recommend and I would definitely come back on my next visit to Tokyo.

Our family went for dinner there and we were absolutely blown away by the exceptional service and food! Based on reviews, we expected a delicious meal with service commensurate to the price; the restaurant and staff far exceeded our expectations. Exceptional service: Without a doubt, 511 and its ...staff exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was so very accommodating and professional. Upon our arrival, they opened the door and greeted us by name. We were then escorted to a private dining room with a beautiful wood table. Mr. Sai was our waiter and he was outstanding, explaining all the dishes and providing recommendations. Throughout the entire meal, Mr. Sai was extremely respectful and engaging. The restaurant easily accommodated our food allergy concerns too. At the end of the meal, Mr. Sai informed us he had already called us a cab. He then proceeded to escort us to the cab and bowed to us when we left, remaining bowed until we were out of sight. Exceptional food: The food and the many creative courses were absolutely delicious! The unique combination of flavors were unexpected and the soy sauce mousse was fantastic. Dessert was so yummy too! However, the Kobe was out of this world! Our first taste was Kobe sushi with caviar and gold leaves. Our second was a Kobe cutlet. And the last was the Kobe main course —- it surpassed everything we had heard about Kobe! Exceptional ambiance: In addition to the exceptional service, the restaurant’s ambiance was amazing and so very calming and serene. The individual rooms were a wonderful touch with the gorgeous wood table and beautiful plates, glasses and utensils. Bottom line: If you can and are looking for Kobe in Tokyo, this place is an absolute must!! Thank you Mr. Sai and the entire 511 staff!!

We went for an evening meal on our first night in Tokyo. The restaurant has private booths which makes for a unique and memorable experience, however it loses the ambience of a good restaurant. Possibly better suited for a romantic occasion or a business meal. Our server was excellent, friendly a...nd efficient and explained the menu to us, helping us with our choices. The food was all very good, however this was to be expected at the prices charged.

So we booked this steakhouse on the second night we were in Japan, and loved it so much we came back 10 nights later. I can say the service from Konrad was outstanding, the food that was delivered was unforgettable. I have never had a better tomato in my life. The ribeye Kobe beef was cooked to per...fection. While this is 5 star experience, so are the prices, but I feel it’s once in a life time experience! We tried other steakhouses in Kyoto and it was not even close to being as good as this spot in Tokyo and it was similar pricing. Expect to pay approximately $200 USD per person without alcohol. This would definitely be on my list to go back again!!!
