“Variety is the spice of life”
Great Variety of food. Sushi is very basic, sashimi is nice, fried chicken and yakitori are great. Electronic menu has good English descriptions and photos. Overall price is reasonable.

“Food very disapointing”
We were very disappointed by this place because the food looked good on the menu but it was not nice (too oily, too salty, not cooked enough or too cooked for the sides dishes). We expected a better quality for the price.

“Passable at best”
Ordered Japanese hotpot with oysters and they came frozen. Place was filled with cigarette smoke. Cover charge of $360 yen per person is hardly justified. Even the orders of vegetable juice tasted more like green tea. Wouldn’t come here again.

“"Saved" by Uotami”
In order to see Nikko shrines early in the morning to avoid visit them crowded we went to sleep the day before to Nikko. We strolled around but we didn't find any interesting restaurant. At the end we found Uotami. They have separate table rooms and an English menu with pictures. Food was very goo...d (they have from sashimi to yakitori with some specialities of Hokkaido). Good prices and credit card payment is accepted. Uotami should be a must if having dinner in Nikko.

“Amazing restaurant”
An amazing restaurant, with private room, all the food you can dream of: sashimi, sushi, western, Classical Japanese. Certainly not the most beautiful and romantic, but not expensive and really good taste.
