鉄板和食とワイン 萬鉄 ～VIN TETSU～

Stunning views from 46th floor of Caretta. 4 menus to choose from. We chose Kobe menu with a couple of amendments for my husband who doesn’t like garlic or mascarpone. We picked a bottle of Japanese Sauvignon Blanc which complimented the food very well. The first course - beef bone broth was stunnin...g. The appetizer was scallop and tuna , (with mascarpone for me) and was delicious. The duck and grilled onion soup was like a consommé and was very tasty. Then it was the teppanyaki of Kobe beef accompanied by salad veg and cheese & truffle sauce, and a raw egg yolk with soy sauce. A palate cleanser of granita followed. Then it was a piece of Kobe fillet steak that we cooked ourselves on the hot plate in front of us. This was followed by Kobe beef fried rice, and the meal was rounded off with the best pear sorbet I have ever had. All in all a fantastic experience.

Amazing view from 46th floor. Delicious tepanyaki food. The soup is particularly spectacular as it’s steamed in front of your eyes in a bag on the tepanyaki. Very good service and good selection of Japanese wines.

We enjoyed this sky high place, great food and considering the view, excellent value. The wagyu beef was very good, close seconds were the starter of sea urchin sushi and the seafood fried rice. Nice service staff.

This place is amazing. 10 course degustation meal Japanese style. The food was out of this world, the service was impeccable and very friendly. Oh and the view, undescribable. Definitely the best way to see Tokyo and enjoy her food.

Vin Tetsu is located inside the Caretta Shiodome shopping center on 46th floor. They have a great view of the city and you can sit facing the big window. They serve teppanyaki. We enjoyed the seasonal menu which had sushi, soup, egg omlette, teppanyaki and dessert. Service is good and the food was e...xcellent. Good value for a good meal.
