“Perfect for a relaxing evening”
Had dinner here on Saturday evening. We had a reservation. (This is probably necessary because there are only a few tables. ) The owner welcomed us and took us to our table. Communicated well and treated us with a smile throughout the evening. The set menu was superb. The chef really did a good job ...in preparing the food. We spent 2 hours there but it didn't feel like it. The owner brought out the food and explained everything in detail. What is was, where it came from and how it was prepared. I highly recommend this if you want to have a good relaxing dining experience.

The food was exceptional; we had the lunch special where you can select an hors d'oeuvre, main, and dessert (there's also soup and coffee) from a list provided. The best dishes were the scallop main and a coconut ice cream dessert, but everything was enjoyable. Service was also impressive; we did no...t need to ask for anything: water was refilled, bread arrived warm just as we needed it. Be prepared though, the menu's all in Japanese--and hard-to-read writing, at that. The wine list posts eye-popping prices but individual glasses are also offered. The decor is quiet and comfortable: nice ceramic wear, beautiful chairs, and warm-colored walls. Reservations are highly recommended, even for lunch, as the dining room seats only 18. There may also be seating upstairs. It's a fair walk from the closest station, Tama Plaza, so you want to be sure you have a seat once you arrive. They also have two parking slots. We'll definitely be returning as it's in our neighborhood.
