“Subpar Sushi”
I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. We found this restaurant through all the positive reviews and we were looking for a location that was within walking distance to our hotel. The restaurant seems to attract a lot of foreigners (a lot of foreign business people were eating here). That ...being said, staff did not seem very inviting or friendly to us. Service was surprisingly bad for Japan: menus were tossed at us (literally), when the food was brought plates were handed to us to set down ourselves, the waiter/bus person who was clearing plates would just reach over us and bump us when clearing. We were surprised as this was not indicative of the service we received at other restaurants in Japan. The sushi was subpar as well. We did a set course meal, but the quality of the fish just seemed off. We compared it to a cheap NYC sushi restaurant. I think this would have been okay, but with the pricing at this restaurant we expected a little more quality. I am not sure why there are so many positive reviews for this restaurant so maybe we just came on an off day. However, I won't be returning to find out since there are so many better options around Tokyo.

“Delicious ”
We tried many different kinds of sushi, things I’ve never had like snail and monk fish liver. All good. Great staff too.

“Outrageously expensive for modest sushi”
Not surprised that it was quiet in the restaurant as the bill was close to double the price of other Tsukiji Sushiro outlets. The sushi itself was not as good as the outlet in Tsukiji or the one at Tokyo station, so go to one of those and avoid this overpriced one.

Came here for a business dinner and had a great time. Japanese dinning experience I expected - delivering on highest imaginable standard.

“Excellent sushi in very Japanese environment”
A friend had just joined in Japan and wanted a real Japanese restaurant experience. Tsukiji Sushiko in Minato certainly delivered. The sushi and sash were excellent, the staff were very attentive and helpful and it was far cheaper than an equivalent meal and good quality sake in Australia.
