“Nice bar, unfriendly staff & unnecessary cover charge.”
Hoped to call into what looked like a nice bar for a drink before a meal. There were a few people inside but it was by no means busy. Staff said only outside, which felt a strange request, after explaining we were not planning on staying long we were offered a table inside for 20min. Drinks were fin...e, but we’re surprised to find 1000yen cover charge, ridiculous for such a short stay, one drink & average service. ‘Japanese Culture’ apparently, but I’ve been in Tokyo over a week and this was my first experience of such.

“Brilliant find in Tokyo”
Brilliant find. Great food and wonderful staff. Waitress so lovely and helpful despite minimal English - a real giggler! She was delightful. Manger was excellent. One of the happiest and funniest nights we have ever enjoyed in a restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for making it so. Thank you Toky...o and thank you Winehall Glamour!

“Very enjoyable and underrated restaurant! ”
Great little find near out hotel in Akasaka, beautiful steak and very nice dessert also had a good selection of drinks especially wines to go with the food. Highly recommend

“Delicious find!”
What a gem! This tiny spot has all the good stuff going on. Friendly staff, basic English speaking, excellent chef cooking yummy foods, relaxed cosy atmosphere, interesting fun decor, decent wine list. It’s a winner, loved it!

“Good wine and steak”
Walked the little streets of Akasaka from our hotel and found this restaurant. We had a bottle of a 2014 Malbec from Argentina that was fantastic. The steak was very good and the risotto with cheese was the best we have had.
