BISTRO LE PARISIEN

This is one of the best French restaurants I have eaten in. The food was delicious. I had a savory panna cota followed by the duck. I love panna cota and this savory variety was a wonderful surprise. Then came an excellent selection of desserts. I had berries with a yummy sauce and cream fo...r dessert. The service was excellent. There are staff who speak English, French, and Japanese. The portions were just the right size, and the atmosphere was appealing. The inside is pretty, and there is a small section outside as well.

I have been a few times to this bistrot; while the menu lacks inspiration, it is well-executed and at reasonable prices. Because it is a little out of the way, i find it is never jam-packed for lunch, which is nice if you want to have a quiet chat... Last time I went there, I thought the table were... too close to each other; the door was closed and a large table was boisterous. During this pandemic time, it made me feel nervous; it showed the management was more preoccupied with its revenue than its customers well being....

This is really a nice place for dinner or lunch. Just off the main street is this hidden gem - Le Parisien. They have a little area outside where you can sit if the weather is good and the inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful and friendly when assisting me select... what I wanted to order. Excellent range of wine but I let the host choose a glass for me and was not disappointed. The food was all extremely tasty and well presented and was of a good portion sizes. The pasty of escargot with dill sauce was my favorite and the fish I ordered was delicate and perfectly cooked. The coffee was also fantastic. I will be back!!
