“Interesting experience + ripped off”
We spent a good evening, unfortunately we sadly realized after paying that the total was not corresponding to what we ordered. When we asked the waitress she got all confused and came back 10 min later once remaining client left to explained us that she gave us the most expensive sake of the menu ev...en though we asked for only regular sake indicated in the English menu. She came back with a Japanese menu to show how she got to the total price … of course pointing to the most expensive ones. Very disappointing.

“Delicate kaiseki”
Came for the kaiseki set and the shochu. Waiter perfectly matched different kinds of shochu with the meal. Each course highlighted the delicate flavors and artistry of the chef. She definitely is dedicated to her craft. Lovely neighborhood and beautiful setting. Only 20 seats and we were the only f...oreigners. Book online before your trip. Favorite proper meal in Tokyo and tasted way more expensive than its 3800 yen for five courses (the second course was five two-bite selections itself!).
