“A hidden yakitori-gem”
After a handful of yakitori-skewers at a nearby joint, I wanted to indulge in some more. By chance, this Guide Michelin were just around the corner of where I was staying. Luckily, I came by myself just before dinner-time, otherwise I would never have received any seating. By the time I left the sma...ll restaurant was full and the only non-Japanese customer was me. Thus, table-reservation is a must. They have an English menu that includes one smaller and one larger set-menu. I went for the smaller option which included six skewers chosen by the chef and ending with a wonderful donburi. The friendly owner, Keiru, took care of the grilling himself. So how was the yakitoris? Well, let's just say that it's place in Guide Michelin is well deserved. For genuine and serious yakitori - this is as good as it gets.
