We thought this restaurant serves the best Yakitori that we ate on this trip. There was much more food in the set course menu than we anticipated for the price of ¥3,500. The quality of the chicken was excellent and the way it was cooked over the charcoal was perfect! Hope it is still open when we c...ome back two years from now. About a 5 minute walk from Meguro station.

I eat here regularly. Best to always eat at the counter. so you can watch the amazing skill of the cook. Amazing because she can manage cooking the chicken for so many guests. I suspect the cook and guy who does the salad in the back area have an equity interest in the restaurant and may be (or ma...y not be) partners. This place is typically packed. Make a reservation. We enjoy most the chicken wings, bone, liver, mushrooms with bacon wrap, cherry tomatoes with wrap. Finishing dishes: miso, rice, pickles Wine choice: The South African Rib Shack. Wonderfully mellow. More than a hint of berries. Oak scents, with the succulence of vanilla and spice. Reasonably prices relative to the retail market.

The main branch of this yakitori restaurant is mentioned in Michelin. This place is very popular mostly to Japanese guests. It is nestled right off Meiji Dori a 7 minute walk from Meguro Station. Be sure to make reservations in advance because walk-ins often cannot be handled most of the time. The r...estaurant is closed on Sundays. There is a reasonably good selection of wines or Japanese sake and the like. I enjoy the Chilean red wine. Reserved a seat at the counter to enjoy the action. The women chef is absolutely amazing to watch cooking all the chicken dishes. A little off the beaten track but a superb spot for local cuisine and a local "flavour."
