Great first night in Japan. Staff accommodating even though we were fresh off the plane and never tried speaking Japanese. Food easily ordered from iPad in English. Lots of skewers, gyoza, karaage, and sashimi white fish with ginger dressing. No problem to take kids. Hard to find but closest place t...o our hotel Tokyu Aoyama. Entry is next to the all night pharmacy. Downstairs into a big beer hall. Drinks cheap. Had beer for $4 AUD and gin soda $4 AUD.
