“The unagi rice is awesome!”
A very quiet restaurant. I was here on a weekday at 7pm and was the 2nd customer. Not sure why it wasn't more crowded because. the grilled unagi rice is really awesome. I swear I can have one more serving if I am not already that full

“Unagi, Unagi and Unagi”
My mouth started watering the moment I saw the menu in front of the restaurant. Not a bit disappointed. We had unagi don in many places around Japan, and this place is the pro. It is the unagi lover's heaven. Will certainly visit this again in our next trip to Tokyo.

“Great find by chance”
Was looking for a place to eat at Tokyu Plaza and came across this restaurant. The menu was all eel which was delicious. The portions were good sized and the service was great.

“Good eel dinner with excellent service ”
We went to see the top floor of the Tokyu Plaza Ginza and chanced upon this all eel restaurant. Usually I feel the glazed eel tastes great but cannot eat much. They have the unglazed ones with lighter taste which is refreshing. The service is great. The waiter was very helpful in assisting us to ord...er the food and explained what different sets are. It was an enjoyable experience in a nice ambience. Compared with other restaurants on the same floor, this one is more affordable.

“Not So Well Known But Decent Unagi”
Randomly came across Unagi Toku while googling for food options and noted that they have a branch right in Ginza (Ginza Tokyu Plaza) and decided to check them out. One item which stood out on their menu - their speciality Ohitsu Unagi Chazuke, which is essentially tea on rice (chazuke) on broiled e...el. This is definitely an interesting take on eating eel, similar to the Hitsumabushi style that originated from Nagoya. The eel was well broiled and tender. As described in the menu itself - there are 3 ways to enjoy the meal (1) 1st Bowl - original eel with rice (2) 2nd Bowl - with the seasoning and condiments provided (3) 3rd Bowl - Together with the tea poured on the rice and condiments. For most who are used to having the eel grilled/broiled, the 3rd style (with the tea poured over) will take some time to get used to but after a while, this style grows on you and it feels like a comfort food (especially when it is grey and wet outside).
