The soup is crystal clear and mild. Each topping is of good quality and holds flavor of broth. It works together with the noodles. Roasted Pork Rice Ball 480JPY Don’t miss it. It never disappoint you. The very egg is extremely rich and mixes the roasted pork as well as rice. The place is recommended on Michelin guide in a row. It’s off the beaten track and secret place. But it worth the trip. Good vibe ! As it is rainy today, I don’t have to wait even through I got there a few miniatures before 12pm. Very good ramen with additional rice and meat on the side. The portion is big and price is ok. Good vibes of traditional japanese place.

Ahaha this place is sooooo good. We came across it in the Michelin recommended guide for Tokyo and it really didn't disappoint. The ramen here is just completely incomparable to any other ramen I've had in Japan. The broth is primarily made from chicken stock so has a really rich chicken flavour tha...t is just so so good. The ramen are also really good, great texture and they hold the flavour of the broth well. Yamaguchi serves its ramen with a mixture of both sliced chicken and pork, the two work together in this dish so well. I chose the set menu which was 1000 yen and included the ramen dish and a rice dish with diced pork. The whole meal was just wonderful. This place is quite far off the beaten track but even so it was full the whole time that we were there. I don't think many tourists go here, probably because of its location but it's so so worth the trip! I really can't rate this place highly enough. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few years it follows in the footsteps of Tsuta and receives a Michelin star.
