We had lunch on a Sunday, and given my wife and I wanted different types of Japanese food, we got seated in a lovely space that we had to ourselves. Service from start to end was friendly and efficient. They were happy to explain the various dishes and give tips on improving sushi eating etiquette.... All the dishes were fantastic! The price is reasonable for the high quality. Highly recommended!

Very modern hotel with equally modern restaurant. I sat in the room shown in the picture with the tables close to the windows and a generous walkway to the rest of the restaurant. Very minimalist and somehow I felt I was dining in a corridor and not a top class restaurant. I think the design passed ...me by. Service was impeccable, the ladies glided around me delivering dishes and picking up those that were empty. I was given a good description of each dish and the level of English was high to my relief. I had the Kaiseki lunch so I enjoyed many courses presented and served in a grand way. I won't go into the detail of the food as it changes with the Seasons but the format will be the same - appetisers, soup, sashimi, fried, grilled, boiled courses, rice dish with miso and finally, dessert. Fantastic presentation and cooking techniques shown but for me the quality of the sauces and the soups blew me away. One soup was clear and thick but the inside of the bowl was dark so when you expect a dark, strong flavoured soup, it was in fact, clear and a perfect accompaniment to the fish and shrimp cake. I thought that the food was very good value for the quality although I felt the drinks were pricey: 1,200Y for a small beer. My only reservation was the dessert; I had what was termed seasonal fruits but for the life of me I cannot work out how papaya, strawberries and oranges in the same plate could all be in season at once. The fruit was chilled and while refreshing, was too cold to really enjoy but it's a small thing out of a great experience.

We went as 5 group and went in a small cozy room. It was a 20,000 JPY gorgeous Japanese small plates course. Everything was so delicious and the services were terrific.

Both my wife and I were a little concerned as we entered the restaurant as we had never eaten traditional Japenese food before and my wife is also gluten free. Our worries soon evaporated. We were made very welcome and totally under4stood my wifes requirements. The restaurant Assistant manager, Nana... Shigeta, suggested the menu and tailored it to suit my wifes dietary requirements. The meal and service were beyond our expectations. Whilst we paid more than we had budgeted for it was worth it.The service we received from Nana was exceptional

Superb sashimi and sushi. Excellent service offered with a mix of modern and traditional style. Absolutely recommendable.
