Searching for the small restaurant sign from the Nikko Kaido Road right into the alley, we're a hideaway-like house dining restaurant.
We're a hideaway-like house dining restaurant "Kagata," located standing just off of a small alley from the Nikko Kaido Road.
Our location may not be easy to find, but once you find us, we just might make you feel you've found "a secret hideaway you won't want to tell anyone."
Our various cuisines are prepared by the owner, who trained in Kyoto. Our owner's style is not confined to traditional Kyoto-style Kaiseki courses (traditional Japanese multi-course meal) or vegetables grown in Kyoto, but capitalizes on the knowledge and culinary skills acquired in Kyoto, combined with his playful approach and seasonal food ingredients to prepare our superb cuisines.
Since our menu selections are prepared by seasonal food ingredients carefully-selected by the master, the only courses we serve during both daytime and evening hours are omakase (chef's choice) courses only.
