We had lunch here, where the burgers are the star. There are several types of burgers available - teriyaki burger, avocado burger etc. We chose the basic hamburger. They were hand-formed beef patties served on a perfectly textured bun, with the usual toppings of lettuce, tomato, onion. Fries on ...the side. The burger had a real BBQ-grill flavor; the chef/cook obviously spent time in the U.S., as it hit the mark on all points. The breakfast menu only had three items - eggs benedict, French toast, and rice porridge. It comes as a set menu, with coffee, tea, juice, soup, and your choice of main. Drinks are self-serve and refillable. The French toast was served with no syrup but instead was topped with fresh fruit, fluffy and yummy. The restaurant is small, but in nice weather there is some outdoor seating. Not a destination, but if you are a guest at the hotel, or in Fujisawa and crave a burger, 8 Café is worth trying.
